About

The Cardiovascular Medicine Work Group has been tasked with recommending optional criteria and test scripts to other certification categories to address the unique needs of office-based cardiovascular physicians and practices with a goal of improving health IT adoption in that specialty medicine group.

Expanding the Certification Commission scope

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has authorized and funded the Commission to expand its certification scope of work for ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) products to begin addressing medical specialties and specialized care settings.
