CCHIT launched the first Enterprise electronic health record (EHR) certification in August 2008. The program closed on June 30, 2009. The program term was 2 years. In addition to completing requirements for Ambulatory and Inpatient certification, a CCHIT Certified Enterprise EHR must also have completed the following testing.
