On Tuesday, July 20, we submitted our complete application to the Office of the National Coordinator to become an Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB). Our application included both Part 1, noting our compliance with ISO Guides 65 and 17025, and Part 2, our response to the required proficiency exam. We await further guidance from ONC and the completion of the final test procedures and tools by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). CCHIT expects to be among the first to be authorized to provide ARRA certification.  We are confident that CCHIT will be approved as an ONC-ATCB because of our years of experience in this field and our readiness to meet the required accreditation standards.
