Technology with Modular  certification

Modular certification (previously called Preliminary ARRA) inspection is limited to HHS criteria and standards. Modular certification is most appropriate for healthcare providers who have expertise in health IT and want the flexibility of assembling their EHR by combining multiple products and services. It is modular so the technology inspected may not meet all of the requirements. Our Certification Facts™ label tells you which of the criteria are met for Eligible Providers and Hospitals. You are responsible for assuring that your certified EHR technology meets all of the requirements if you plan to qualify for the ARRA incentives No site verification or usability testing is done under this program. (Note: For the purpose of qualifying products for ARRA incentives, CCHIT anticipates, but has not yet received, accreditation by HHS.)
