STI sold its first Practice Management System in 1979. In 1995, STI introduced the ChartMaker Clinical EMR. In 1996 STI purchased the Orion Medical Billing System from Aetna subsidiary, U.S. Healthcare. STI has affiliated programs with the Medical Society of New Jersey, Health Hub from the Medical Society of Delaware, the Delaware Health Information network, as well as many RHIOs and Medical Centers in New York and other states. With over 3,000 medical practice customers representing over 12,000 physicians using their software, STI prides itself on its reputation for great system support. The ChartMaker Medical Suite earned a 5 star usability rating from CCHIT for our 2011 EHR certification.
