Charged with advising on the security requirements for CCHIT Certified EHRs and networks, the Security Work Group remains up-to-date on security standards and best practices to recommend criteria and testing for all EHRs and their networks.

Members

In July 2007, a new Security Work Group was formed. Composed of a variety of healthcare professionals and stakeholders, the group will foster the development of the certification criteria that improve the security of electronic health records. Review the Security Work Group members.
