Advanced Security

The Advanced Security Work Group recommends optional criteria and testing, taking advantage of newly approved standards and the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements for federal operations and assets, to certify advanced EHR technology which can demonstrate compliance with these criteria, above and beyond that required by current certification programs.
